Paul and I have been there a couple of times before and enjoyed the experience, but this time our enjoyment was multiplied by the K factor: Our little baby girl who had never ever heard of the existence of most of this animals, had never seen them, not even on TV, and all the sudden had them looking at her straight on the eye.
She spent most of the time looking at the different animals out of the window, and then looking back at us while saying "oooooh oooooh!" which I'm pretty sure means "Did you see that?" "That's awesome!!!"
Whenever there were no animals around she would just enjoy going from side to side of her car seat since she was not strapped in for the first time, which was absolutely delightful for her.
A big animal touched Katie's nose with its wet nose and she freaked-out for a moment (probably because she saw my shocked face) but quickly forgot about it and moved on to the next set of strange-looking animals.
Papa also had a little scare when some zebras invaded his personal space, and showed his attributes as the man of the house when victoriously feed the evil looking ostriches and showed Katie how to feed the goats.
Grandma took most of the photos and just had fun. She left today to California to meet with her other grandchildren :(
So Katie had to go for the first time to daycare; which I’ll write about tomorrow :)
